Dr. Margaret Boice

Margaret Boice, Ed.D., 26 years experience as an educator includes 11 years at the administrative level, including her current position as the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for Derby Public Schools in Derby, Connecticut. Meg is also an adjunct faculty member at several universities, including Sacred Heart University, Walden University, the University of Phoenix and the College of St. Joseph. In every aspect of her profession, Meg is dedicated to sharing her expertise on educational leadership, managing school improvement initiatives and best practices for integrating technology into instruction.

Beginning her career as a mathematics teacher for grades 7–12 in Salinas, California, Meg later moved to Fairfax County, Virginia, where she taught math and served as department chair. In 1995, she moved to the administrative ranks. She has been an assistant principal at both the middle and high school levels and a middle school principal.

Meg is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, American Association of School Administrators, National Council of Staff Development, and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Her work has been published in The Journal of the New England League of Middle Schools, Middle Ground, Apple, and Virginia Mathematics Teacher, among others. Her conference presentations focus on the middle school as a professional learning community and integrating technology into the school curriculum.

Meg is committed to ensuring all students achieve at a high level. Her energetic and engaging presentations are based on a solid foundation of best practice in instruction, appropriate uses of technology in differentiated instruction and the importance of targeted, formative data. Her fresh perspective on challenging topics in today’s schools and districts provide administrators with the support and encouragement they need to start their own school improvement initiatives.

 

 

Sarder Mehede Dilder

Sarder Mehede Dilder possesses 14 years of Executive/Management Level experience working within various National (Bangladeshi) and International Development/Non-Government Organizations (NGO's). Most recently Mr. Dilder worked with Proshika, one of the largest Development Organizations of Bangladesh as Central Coordinator. Past Organizations include the Society For Peace and Development (SPD), an education based organization, which has a successful record of achieving significant behavioral change in various Educational Institutes within Bangladesh.

Mr. Dilder has in-depth working experience within various Development and Non-Profit Projects and Organizations. His experiences include participatory project planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluation, project team organization, recruiting, process monitoring and implementation, budgetary/cost responsibility, quality and time constraints.

 

 

Andy Powers

Mr. Powers delivers significant leadership experience through his positions at such esteemed consulting firms as Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and KPMG Consulting (Bearing Point), including sales, marketing and product development. Mr. Powers has worked with and started a number of high tech companies including: RCSI, Push, Reggie Software and Purethink, with numerous successful acquisitions. He is an active member of the Northern VA, Washington DC Company of Friends (Fast Company Magazine).

 

 

Danny Boice

Danny Boice is a successful technology entrepreneur with a proven track record of start-up success. Most recently, Mr. Boice served as chief executive officer, co-founder and co-chairman of Jaxara™, which has been named for the past two years as one of the Top 25 Small Technology Companies in the DC Metro area by the Washington Business Journal. Mr. Boice is also a co-founder of Illuminate Bangladesh and previously served as Technology Director of CatholicContacts.com and ASCII. Mr. Boice serves on the Board of Directors for various companies and charities and is active within the Northern Virginia Technology Council and The Greater Washington Board of Trade.

Most recently, Boice Co-Founded and Created CommuniClique, a VoIP Enabled Project Collaboration Product which allows distributed teams to work together more efficiently. Alex Petty

Alex Petty has a solid history of starting companies and growing them into successful enterprises. As the former co-chairman and co-founder of Jaxara, Mr. Petty was instrumental in helping to grow the company's revenues to US$3.5 million. Most recently, Mr. Petty co-founded Illuminate Bangladesh and is also a co-founder and former director of operations for CatholicContacts.com, for which he executed the sale of the company in 2001. Mr. Petty serves on the Board of Directors for various companies and charities and is active within the Northern Virginia Technology Council and The Greater Washington Board of Trade. He is a published expert in the fields of distributed team management and Agile software.
